It's really cold out today. The wind has also been particuarly violent. Like, strong enough to blow me down the sidewalk. And I'm not tiny, let me tell you. So it was a very strong wind. And also so loud! It's because these midwesterners don't have mountains to block the wind.

Marykatherine sopntaenously called. She and Houde and I are going to go out to a bar somewhere in this desolate town and just have fun. This is just what I need--a nice night out of the house where I actually put on my face and make an effort to look nice! YAY!!!! I'm very happy. Then we're gonna go make s'mores at Mk's over a bonfire.
